Hi Folks, we are having a club night off today. However we have two consecutive weekend events to make this up. The Landscape day was the first of the two and was last Saturday. It was with a little trepidation as the weather forecast had been poor and it was at the height of the Whaley Bridge Dam drama and the police had shut a lot of roads in the area. However we were rewarded with lovely weather and, for most, a straight forward journey onto the village of Hayfield. We journeyed along the Sett Valley trail and up along Lantern Pike. The day finished with a nice meal in The George Hotel at 5 pm.
Next Saturday the club is going on an outing to Rivington Gardens.
