Davyhulme Camera Club now uses the PhotoEntry competition platform to manage its competitions. All paid up members will have received log-in credentials for the system and all digital entries (and digital copies of print entries) should now be submitted on-line. Obviously hard copy print entries will still need to be handed in to the competition secretary by the closing date of whichever competition you’re entering.
To enter a digital competition please make sure your entries are sized to 1400 x 1050 pixels with a colour profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1 then go to the website:

A pdf guide to using the PhotoEntry platform is available [here]
A video guide on how to use the PhotoEntry platform can be found [here]
A video guide on how to use PhotoShop to resize images and change their colour profile to sRGB is [here]
An additional guide regarding the Related Sets competition will be uploaded in due course.
In the meantime you can download a ZIP file of the templates Andy uses here (right click the link and choose ‘Save Link As’) … [Templates.zip]. Extract the files from the zip file, choose the template you want to use and then in your photo editing software you can simply import your 6 images as new layers and move them on to the white frames. You then need to flatten the image before finally resizing the resulting image to 1600x1200px and saving it.
