Last week, we had a review of our entries for the annual ‘4-way battle’ with three other local clubs and this week we put mobile phone cameras thro’ their paces and squeezed them till the pips squealed. We had 50 entries, all judged internally by the club audiences on the night. The images projected were very good, considering they were taken with a mobile phone! One lesson learnt from this is, ‘the pace of progress outpaces the hardware’ and the way mobile phone cameras outpaced and destroyed those early digital pocket cameras is proof positive.
Also, I’m beating the drum to let folk know our annual photo exhibition is only a few weeks away, in Urmston Library, so please stay tuned to this Blog for further bulletins.
