Regular Comp. round three.

Hello folks,

Well, what a turn up for the book.  Read on…there are four regular competitions within each year.  The photographer has a free run on subject matter and can submit up to three images as digital images (DPI’s) and up to three images as hard copy prints.  The Judge for the competition on this occasion was Keith Barber, who kindly stood in at short notice to cover for sickness of the scheduled judge.  (And we wish the poorly judge a speedy recovery and hope to see him on another event soon)

Competition nights are always exciting, as the lights go down and the judge begins his/her critique and opinion on the ranking of each image in turn, till all but the winner have been eliminated.  No prize for coming second.

The winner of the DPI section was Roy Kenniston so congratulations Roy and the winner of the Print section was Roy Kenniston.  A first in both sections, with quality images snapping at the heels of these winning images.  It was as exciting as watching a Germany V England penalty shoot-out. So hearty congratulations Roy!
