Our club tries to get away for an annual club weekend together. This year we went to a little town in Shropshire called Much Wenlock. The area around is very rural and quintessentially English….Anglo Saxon almost. And yet, paradoxically, here it is credited, in these few square miles, the giving birth to the worlds industrial revolution that is still eclipsing the globe.
On a more mundane note; this summer has not been the best on record but in late September we were reasonably fortunate to get some good days of weather…..and good food……..and good beer……..and good company. All the ingredients needed to make for a good weekend away.
