Practical night – outdoors

About 9 pm now, when most of the natural light has gone, along latitude 53.45 degrees N and longitude 2.4 degrees W.  We meet at 7:45 pm so last Wednesday we met, said hello and then quickly teemed out of the club into the local streets with cameras around our necks. (had I thought forward a little, I could have done the Fire Drill at the same time!)   After lots of recent rain we were blessed with a lovely, low in the sky, sunny evening and so made the most of the light and long shadows.

This was the first this year for our out-door, walk about evenings so we were probably like pit ponies brought out of the mine and let loose in a field.
