DCC visits North Cheshire PS

Last night, members of the club went to support the club’s entries at the annual North Cheshire Photographic Society’s, 2017 Exhibition – in the ‘Inter-club Competition; which is part of the exhibitions programme of events.  This competition as an international flavour to it with clubs entering from as far a field as Sheffield and Liverpool.  The entry standard was excellent, as befits the prestige of clubs involved.  Some serious  photography on display here!  Phil Charnock was the judge.

Anyway, from the 18 clubs entering, Warrington PS won and we came 2nd…from the bottom up.  A good result. never-the-less,  in such company, so no reason to be downhearted.  It was fun.  The ‘classic’ song from the band ‘New Christie Minsterals is a good note to end on; so sing along if your know it…….” Two wheels on our waggon, and we’re  still rolling along, things look bad – but we’re not sad!  Cos we’re singing a happy song”……..
