A few hardy club members ventured up to Marple Locks on Sat 21 Jan, a bitterly cold day, to inspect at close quarters, repairs to the base of one of the locks, prior to new gates being fitted. Then on to an exhibition display in a near-by and very warm club house. The day finished in a local pub for a hearty meal.
